COVID-19 (Arizona): Governor Ducey Issues Reopening Guidance

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced the next steps Arizona will take to reopen its economy. The Governor issued an Executive Order allowing cosmetologists and barbershops to resume appointment-based services this Friday, May 8, 2020 and restaurants and coffee shops to resume dine-in services with physical distancing measures on Monday, May 11, 2020. The Governor’s Office also released additional guidelines to keep customers and employees safe.

Resuming business operations for barbers, cosmetologists, and dine-in restaurants.


Reporting by nursing and residential care institutions and certain medical groups to residents and families regarding COVID-19.





As of today, the remainder of Arizona businesses may open on Saturday, May 16, 2020 with appropriate social distancing procedures in place unless the Governor amends Executive Order 2020-33, a PDF of which is below.
